Basketball is here! 

The 4th and 5th grades will be using the Sport Education Model.  Each student will have a specific role for their team.  There are coaches, captains, referees, trainers, managers, announcer and record keepers.  
3rd grade will work on their skills and get to play some modified games.  The 1st and 2nd grades will learn the basic skills of dribbling, passing and lay-ups.  Kindergarten will be practicing dribbling and passing.  All the classes will work towards improving their overall basketball skills. 

Just a reminder, please make sure that your child has CLEAN gym shoes for their PE class.  They should have a separate pair of gym shoes that they change into, if they don't have clean shoes they will not participate.  NO CROCS or sandals, please!!!
