K: Mrs. Wendt708-485-3397bwendt@d101.org Welcome to Kindergarten, a Place Where Children Bloom   Kindergarten at Field Park School is a developmentally appropriate program which focuses on both academic learning and the social development of the young child. The curriculum addresses different levels of academic readiness. The classroom is a child-centered environment with hands-on activities in reading, writing, math, science and social studies. The children are actively engaged and excited to explore their world. Parental volunteers are an integral part of the learning experience in the kindergarten program. News
Field Day is on Tuesday, June 2 from 1:30-3:15. The a.m. class is encouraged to come bck and participate in this all school activity. Everyone will play games and then gather for a special treat. The Kindergartners will be partnered with first graders who will help them travel from game to game. This is a fun final event of the school year. The rain date is June 3rd. PLease let me know if your child will not be participating inField Day.
