Icon Class Lists

Class lists are mailed to all families during the first week of August.

One of the responsibilities building principals have is to create classes that provide an educational environment that is conducive to student learning.

The procedure implemented in District #101 elementary schools is as follows:
  1. Grade level teachers make recommendations.
  2. Special service staff review recommendations and offer input as appropriate.
  3. Principal reviews and makes the final decision.

Parental requests are not recommended and felt to be unnecessary due to the confidence held in the teachers’ professional expertise. However, if there is information you feel we need to have in order to make a sound educational decision for your child’s placement, please email Mr. Promisel in May.
